Get the most out of your Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce membership by getting involved in committees that help promote business and economic growth in our area. Each group focuses on a different aspect of the community that affects business.

Below is an explanation of the different opportunities and how you can get involved to improve your business and your community.

Board of Directors - a diverse cross-section of member businesses that govern the Chamber. The Board in turn elects an executive committee to lead the Board. Please contact Aaron Kapellusch at 715-848-5946 or to find out more about the Board of Directors.

Business Advocacy Committee – activities include developing and maintaining a legislative agenda and informing and educating membership on legislative issues. Please contact Sara Guild at 715-848-5940or to find out more about the Business Advocacy Committee.

MCDEVCO – is the economic development branch of the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce responsible for commercial development, business retention/expansion and the revolving loan fund. Please contact Jim Warsaw at 715-848-5954 or to find out more about MCDEVCO.

Membership Sales and Services Committee – this includes the team of Ambassadors who help with activities such as member recruitment and retention, Ribbon Cuttings and Groundbreakings. Please contact Heather Martell at 715-848-5951 or to find out more about the Membership Sales and Services Committee.

Programs Committee – the core committee is responsible for continual review and exploration of new educational program opportunities.
